The Baring Trust advises on the built, natural and cultural heritage as part of its work in creating and facilitating interactive local events and activities to engage communities and empower participation in the process of heritage-led development.
The Trust has developed long standing relationships with related organisations as part of its advocacy work, including the Butterfly Conservation Trust, The London Wildlife Trust, Historic England, National Trust and Save Britain’s Heritage.
Working with Just Space, The Baring Trust was key to presenting the evidence that led to the amendment of The London Plan (2015) to ensure that pubs were afforded greater protection from change of use.
The Trust continues to collaborate with like-minded organisations in London, Toronto, Berlin, New York, Vienna and Havana.
