We are running an exciting free 8 week outdoor learning club designed to connect our children (age 0-10) back to nature and the origins of food. Each session will cover different topics about how our environment functions and how to care for it as well as how it provides us and wildlife with nutritious food.

Our Wild Rangers Family Nature and Gardening Club is designed to inspire the next generation of Earth Scientists. But no matter what our children grow up to be, this is a great opportunity for them to enjoy the wonders of the outdoors, providing them with the tools to live healthily and sustainably. There is well-established research which shows that learning outdoors contributes to the positive development of children, building resilience, confidence, independence and self-motivation.

Kids get to take away a reward at each session. Children should be accompanied by an adult parent / carer.

Our session leaders are trained Forest School tutors and are DBS checked.

Sessions will take place at: The Ringway Centre, 268 Baring Road, SE12 0DS

When: Saturday’s: 8th Feb – 28th Mar 2020

Time: 1pm- 2.30pm

What to Wear: We will be out in all weathers. Please make sure you check the forecast and dress appropriately. While some parts of the session may well take place indoors or under shelter, we will be outdoors for the majority of time. It will also be muddy in wetter months, so wellies are recommended.
